Tonight’s Live Results: Eubank Jr Vs. Benn – From London

Chris Eubank Jr. fights Conor Benn tonight in a middleweight fight, with the start time of the event at 12 pm ET / 9 am PT, live on DAZN PPV in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. The main event will start around 5 pm ET / 2 pm PT.

Both fighters successfully made weight for the 10-lb rehydration clause this morning. Eunbank Jr. weighed in at 169.4 lbs, and Benn came in at 165 pounds. The two were under the 170-lb limit.

Tonight’s event will be shown on DAZN PPV for $24.99 in the U.S and £19.95 in the UK. Eubank Jr. (34-3, 25 KOs) missed weight on Friday, coming in just slightly over the middleweight limit at 169.05 lbs. He reportedly is being penalized a steep $500K. His condition at the weigh-in was thin, and he appeared weak from weight loss.

Tonight, it’s going to be interesting to see if Eubank Jr. is showing any of the ill effects of the double whammy of the two weigh-ins. If he’s drained, it gives Conor a chance of overpowering him with his aggressive style. Benn, 28, is moving up from welterweight for the fight, and he needed a weight handicap.

No one knows how good the Matchroom-promoted Benn is because he has never stepped up against true contenders before. His experience is limited to old veterans and a variety of run-of-the-mill fighters that these guys face at the beginning of their careers. His promoter, Eddie Hearn, never got a chance to begin matching Benn against good opposition until now.
